Not to long ago I wrote about not giving up on those we love. Even when we feel hurt and would like an apology many times it never comes, and it is a useless waist of time and energy to be expecting it. This does not mean that God will not involve himself,and gives you a shock when you least expect it.
Without going into the whole story, and not to disclose the persons identity, I received an unexpected apology from someone that had accused me of doing something wrong some time ago.
It came totally unexpectedly, I had forgotten the entire thing until she brought it up! During all this time after the problem we had, I have been trusting and learning form my loving Father. When I offend Him He is not there gripping me out, he is not having “expectations”, or holding resentments towards me. The only thing I have seen him do, is love me! He just continues to love me no matter what I do, or do not do! And that has had an effect in me. So Him, living in me, has been loving this lovely person in my life no matter what happens. It is not because Estrella is so good and kind! No! It is the life of God being lived in me! This is only possible because I have made the choice to let God be the one who reacts to this person and not me. This has been transforming my life.
So last week, this person in my life asks me to forgive her! Out of the blue! If she had not mentioned why or what for, I would have not even remembered! This is God working! When you can forgive someone that accuses you unjustly,hurts you, offends you, etc. and you continue to let God love them through you, this is the work of God. A human is not capable of doing such things! This is where the rubber meets the road! To love the person that hurts you, is not natural for any person, instead we get away form that person, resent them, talk about them, avoid them whenever possible right? Revenge? Maybe a little bit? ? Yes revenge! All of these are the natural human responses to pain and trouble. But not God! They do not fin into his character! Oh! You might say! But I am not God!
Am I a child of God? I say I am! Does it show? Does my relationship with God has an effect on my daily life? If it doesn’t, who am I fooling? God is real! He has done everything and provided everything so I can become just like Him, that is his purpose for my life and for the life of everyone of his children,
Titus 3:4-7

John 1:12-13

12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Did you notice something unusual? I put it in italics to highlight. NOT BORN OF BLOOD, NOT BORN OF THE FLESH, NOT BORN BY THE WILL OF A MAN! THIS CHANGES YOUR DNA!!
What is it that makes the difference between a christian that just goes through the motions, just goes to church, fills all the requirements of the religion but his life is not transformed? It is a choice! You might be misinformed about what it is you believe in, No religion is going to save you or transform your character! The only way to have abundant life is to come to be a part of the family of God, receive the adoption he offers you, and let him live His life in you. That is the only way to a successful, happy, fulfilled life. If you do not know God like this, you are wasting your time in all that serving and doing for the church. The only purpose of God for you is to make you his child and to make you like Jesus. All has been already provided for.
Ephesians 3:14-21
14 When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, 15 the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. 16 I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. 17 Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. 18 And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.19 May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.
20 Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. 21 Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.
The one very important thing I want to make clear is this: YOUR PART IS MAKING THE CHOICE, GOD’S PART IS TO DO THE WORK! THANK YOU FATHER FOR WHAT YOU ONLY CAN DO! I PRAISE YOU!
